SEPTEMBER 26th to OCTOBER 12th ‘ 14
At the end of September ’14, Bournemouth on the south coast of England, embraces another new arts initiative, which will be a part of its Arts By The Sea Festival – The Bournemouth Emerging Art Fringe.
This open-access, multi-art form festival in its first official launch year, works as a platform for local creatives and organisations to become included in the Arts By The Sea Festival programme. The Fringe aims to support and nurture the diverse range of arts and culture happenings in the town whilst developing new audiences.
FluxArt as a part of the festival will be playing host to some historical and latest works from the Urban Artist Soap, who has strong ties with the town. In 2011 he created over 10 different murals at the local Pokesdown Station which went onto win an award!
From spray-painting trains in Poland as a teenager to notching up commissions for celebrity portraits (Plan B, The Rizzle Kicks and Professor Green to name a few), 33 years old Urban Artist Soap’s rise has been a stratospheric one.
This is SOAP (aka Adam Klodzinski’s) first major exhibition, held at The London West Bank Gallery.
Any one interested in graffiti art, street art, portraiture or surrealism should attend.
